Slumdog was pretty awesome, and was an interesting way to return to and actual, full, happy ending after years of Hollywood trying to buck the cliche.
I just hope Benjamin Button doesn't win, because although I loved the movie, Forrest Gump won once already. Against Pulp Fiction and the Shawshank Redemption, no less. Pardon my bitterness.
I really liked the Reader. It was so touching! The movie was incredibly moving and it shows the amount of change that can occur within people. It also helps to show how important it is that we teach equality and acceptance to all. It should win!
